So many bands claim to shed the restraints of a genre nowadays, but few deliver. 2AM Club is perhaps the only one that truly does deliver on the promise to release music without an ounce of pretension. Fans from the Los Angeles area know this to be true. These fans have been searching for 2AM Club tickets since the group first formed back in 2007.
Together Marc Griffin (lead singer), Tyler Cordy (emcee), Matt Reagan (guitarist), Dave Dalton (keyboardist), Ian O'Neill (drummer), Matt "Sauce" Warshauer (bassist) work hard to create songs that are inspired by elements from funk, pop, rock, soul, hip hop, new wave, and electro. The five met in college and spent a year traversing the coast, looking for opportunities to perform. Eventually their musical elasticity caught on and 2AM Club played a four-month residency at the Derby, a show they dubbed "Tiny Porno".
