Come catch this new band quickly hitting the road! A Rocket to the Moon has recently started their OP Tour, selling A Rocket to the Moon tickets quickly in their short existence.
The band started as a musical experiment by Nick Santino, an experienced artist who previously was in The Bad Year and The Midway Class. He later received feedback that his new band was sensational, and decided to take the band farther. He assembled a band of musicians in early 2008 with The Maine's help before their first festival appearance at The Bamboozle. The band also helped support The Morning Light. After making an appearance performing Dakota on TRL, the band signed to Decaydance after instant reception from fans. The band followed with a tour supporting Fueled by Ramen, The Cab, and A Cursive Memory. The group also toured with Cute is What We Aim For, Secondhand Serenade, and Automaatic Loveletter.
Soon later, the album Greetings From was released with feature singles Dakota and If only They knew which reached number 21 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart.
