A Static Lullaby was formed in the year 2001, in Chino Hills in California. It is a hardcore / alternative rock outfit. They came together after a casual jam session in high school, that led the members to leave their existing bands and come together to form a band. The band started with singer Joe Brown, bassist Phil Pirrone, drummer Brett Dinovo, and guitarists Dan Arnold and Nathan Lindeman. They performed their first show just after two weeks they formed their band. Their show was very much successful and so was highly acclaimed. This success boost their confidence. They returned back to their studio, to start recording their songs. Soon they finished their recording and self-released their first EP Withered. In the year 2002, after hearing their songs, Ferret Records signed them up.

Artist Biography - A Static Lullaby

They, then started recording with Steve Evetts (Snapcase, Hatebreed) and in the year 2003, they released ...And Don't Forget to Breathe in March. This album laid down their foundation in the field of music. It portrayed their creativity although it didn't tapped completely. After that, they embarked upon extensive tour to promote their band. But this touring led to some problems withing the band and after some time Dinovo left the band. Undettered by the turn of events, A Static Lullaby soon signed to Columbia and began to work hard for their follow-up album. In the year 2005, Faso Latido appeared with their friend Sammy Siegler (Youth of Today, Gorilla Biscuits) playing the drums and Lou Giordano (Sunny Day Real Estate, Taking Back Sunday) producing the album. After the completion of the album, the band started searching for a permanent drummer. At that time, Dinova approached his band mates, who were performing in the show and told them that wanted to return back in the band. They agreed and he rejoined the band in the year 2005. Success seemed to come in their way, A Static Lullaby found a spot on the popular Taste of Chaos tour along with the Used and Killswitch Engage. But in the year 2006, Pirrone, Dinovo, and Lindeman left the band over some musical differences and as a result, uncertainty loomed over the band. But the band formed again and they signed up with California indie Fearless Records, and by March, Brown and Arnold were again the part of the band with the addition of guitarist John Death, bassist Dane Poppin, and drummer Jarrod Alexander to A Static Lullaby's lineup. They started working on the release of their next album with producer Evetts and issued a self-titled album Fearless and then headed out for a tour along with I Am Ghost.
