Taylor Swift has decided to take on a new frontier, the e-card industry. American Greetings issued a press release, informing consumers that the Grammy-winning country singer has released a series of 13 e-cards, available at its own page.

The Yankees got to throw the last of the season before beginning the 2011 MLB postseason with an ALDS series against the Detroit Tigers. All seems well in New York, but all those looking forward to another trip to the World Series should take a look at the team in front of them.

Sometimes you just have to take a moment to take in a story and let the disbelief wash away before contemplating a new Broadway project. It certainly seems like producers are searching for anything to adapt with a musical score. It certainly seemed that way with Spider Man Turn Off the Dark, but this latest project may seem a more unlikely quest.

It took the band five years, but Guns N’ Roses is coming back to the United States. It all started with the announcement of a few concert dates in the South. Well, every single couple of days the list of venues has grown. Now Guns N Roses tickets are being sold for nine concert dates. Many are expecting more dates to be announced, so be prepared for a show in your area if it is not already on the schedule.

It has been two weeks and the NFL is down to seven undefeated teams, and three of them are in the AFC East. This really is incredible. The teams on the list are even more unbelievable. There are the typical teams like the Patriots and Packers, but then there are the Redskins, the Bills, the Lions, and the Texans (the Jets could really go either way here).

Not too long ago I remember reading reviews of Julie Taymor’s version of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. One particular reviewer took a turn at being an oracle and stated that the musical would do well during the busy tourist season in the summer, but audiences would shrink and leave the Foxwoods Theatre half empty come fall and winter. Well, the show was rewritten, the preview period extended to record length, and now it appears the reviewer may have to eat his words. Reeve Carney, who portrays Peter Parker and Spider-Man, has had his contract extended to May 12, 2012.

Chris Brown is back, or so he would like to think. He is definitely back in the news for having 95 parking tickets removed from his record. His name is definitely in the rumor mill, as tabloids are reporting that Rihanna’s family wants her to get back with him. His tour has ranked near the top of the secondary ticket market charts. Yet, his album sales have not quite been up to par with his first two double platinum albums.

The New York Jets have a championship caliber defense and added two talented veterans to its wide receiver core, yet the postseason hopes remain in the hands of Mark Sanchez, the same man who let the football consistently slip out of his hands in the last preseason game on the schedule. This is disconcerting for fans that purchased Jets tickets expecting a chance to see this team make a run at the Patriots and first place in the AFC East and then the Super Bowl.

Developing and staging a successful Broadway musical is a difficult task. There are years of workshops and a few tryout runs to perfect the show that one day may be so lucky as to grace the stage of a major Broadway venue. That it the norm, but there are always exceptions to that arduous and spirit breaking process and the runaway hit The Book of Mormon is that very exception.

Lil Wayne is the Prince of the 21st century - a thought-provoking, at times controversial music figure who seemingly exists outside of the parameters that typically restrains mere mortal performers. Lil Wayne tickets are on sale for his I Am Still Music tour on the eve of the release of Tha Carter IV and he has quickly gone to work creating enough buzz on the Internet to bump up the sale of both the concert tickets and the album.
