Coke Zero 400 Tickets Regarded as one of NASCAR's most prestigious events on the Sprint Cup Series calendar, the Coke Zero 400 is also the only other race to be held at Daytona International Raceway, other than the first race of the year, the Daytona 500. Previously run at different lengths and under different names, such as the Pepsi 400 and more popularly the Firecracker 400, the Coke Zero 400 is a 160-lap, 400 mile night race which has a history of being run by some of NASCAR's biggest superstar names over the years. In addition to being scheduled around one of America's biggest and most popular celebrations, the 4th of July, since its debut in 1959 the Coke Zero 400 always attracts NASCAR's most famous Sprint Cup Series teams and drivers. Given the long 51-year history of the race, and list of drivers spanning that period, it should come as no surprise that the Coke Zero 400 has also been the scene of a number of drivers' first career NASCAR victories; a list including the likes of A.J. Foyt, Sam McQuagg, Greg Sacks, Jimmy Spencer, John Andretti, and Greg Biffle. With thousands of patriotic fans in the grandstands to witness all of the NASCAR action that the 51st annual race had to offer, the 2009 Coke Zero 400 left the best action for the end of the race, as Tony Stewart took the victory following a last-lap wreck which caused a spectacularly immense chain reaction pile up. This was Stewart's third Coke Zero 400 win in his last five attempts, with the other two coming consecutively in 2005 and 2006.

 While Joe Gibbs Racing and Hendrick Motorsports combined to win eight of the first twelve Sprint Cup races this season, the contrast could not be more drastic. One had taken three of the first five NASCAR Sprint Cup races of 2010, while also surviving some teammate turmoil before cooling off a bit on the track. The other took the checkered flag in five of the next last seven Cup points races, but seemingly in the midst of its two top drivers bringing the team to the edge of an implosion. Since 2000, Hendrick and JGR have also won eight of the ten Sprint Cup championship contested, with the lone exceptions being in 2003 and 2004 when Roush Fenway Racing ruled The Cup. As of this writing, at the exact midway point in the season after the running of the Coca-Cola 600, four of the top six drivers are from either JGR or Hendrick. Since switching from the rear wing to the blade spoiler after the fifth race of the season, the balance of power seemed to switch drastically from Hendrick to Gibbs, with the two hottest drivers in the series being Gibbs' Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch. But with the season still somewhat unstable for both teams, what happens in this race in Daytona could be an accurate measuring stick for what the remainder of the season could bring.
