Who wouldn't want to have a NASCAR race named after them? The Crown Royal Presents the Your Name Here 400 is a Sprint Cup Series stock car race which offers one lucky winner a chance to do just that. Since 2007, race sponsor Crown Royal names the race after the winner of an essay contest during Daytona Speedweeks.

The Your Name Here 400 is currently held in early May, as a Saturday night event at the Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Virginia. For several years prior, it was held as a daytime race event, the weekend following the Daytona 500 in February. Although lights were installed at the track in 1991, the spring race remained during the day, but consistent cold weather – even a snow delay in 1989 – eventually forced track officials to re-schedule the race to take place later in the spring. The race was permanently moved from Sunday afternoon to Saturday night, but continued to be moved around between May and June, until finally sticking with the current early May race date by 1999.
