Bee Gees
Bee Gees is a band of three bothers with one aim, to produce such great music that it remains in the hearts of their listeners. A combination of singers, songwriters, producers- the brother do it all by themselves.'If you want something to be done well, you should do it yourself', the band is a prime example of this. If you believe in numbers the Bee Gees is in business from over 40 years producing some of the greatest hits & selling over 180 million in sales. It is huge as compared with any standards. Started their careers at a very young age the trio made their first appearance with the Rattlesnake in Australia. Later they called themselves Bee Gees Their career saw them moving from one place to another with their family & thus joining various bands from time to time. Yet one thing remained common their determination as well as the accolades they received. This also gave them the opportunity to learn new form of music & perfect themselves wherever possible. Started off in 1955 in Australia, they also went on to visit England & try their luck there. So in 1967 the family returned to UK where the three brothers signed with Robert Stigwood.

From the 1970s till 1973 that is in four years the brothers recorded four more albums which were all instant hits. These albums also went on & placed them on the charts. In America, with the help of a new producer, Arif Mardin, The Bee Gees evolved to new musical forms, starting with the superb albums Mr Natural and Main course, followed by Children of the World, where the song 'You should be dancing' anticipated Saturday Night Fever, the soundtrack that topped the charts for over 20 weeks and that remains the best selling soundtrack ever.
In a career spanning over forty years, the Bee Gees sold more than 175 million records worldwide, and have written dozens of hits for themselves and other acts. Over 1,000 artists have performed their songs, from Elvis Presley, Janis Joplin, Al Green or Barbra Streisand to Destiny's Child, Happy Mondays, Celine Dion or Wyclef Jean. Having worked with such great artists there is no doubt that the Bee Gees are truly phenomenal. A huge fan following around the world their concert tickets sell like hot cakes. Even after so long, they have not evolved into something else but have remained their own original self & this is the main driving force for the fans to come & see them perform live.
