Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton was born on June 18, 1976 and raised in Ada, Oklahoma. He started singing at an early age, starting writing his own songs by the age of 15, and won a Denbo Diamond Award by the age of sixteen. Shelton graduated at the age of 17 and immediately moved to Nashville to pursue his dream of selling albums and concert tickets as a country singer.
Four years after moving to Nashville, Blake Shelton was signed by Giant Records. Three years later, Blake released his debut, self-titled album. The album had a nice start thanks to the success of the lead single, Austin, but the record company folded and Shelton's contract was passed on to Warner Bros. Records. The album would go gold and Shelton would tour, selling tickets to see him making a dream come true.

 Two more gold albums followed, The Dreamer in 2003 and Blake Shelton's Barn and Grill in 2004. He was an artist more noted for singles like The Baby, Some Beach, and Nobody but Me than his albums. His last two albums, Pure BS and Startin' Fires could not bring the country singer the same commercial success as before. The albums failed to chart, but the singer could still have success with Blake Shelton tickets on the road on tour.
