2005 seemed to be the year for the band as they finally released their first studio album and were signed onto the Taste of Chaos Tour. However it was in this same year that the band would lose their drummer Scott Gottlieb to leukemia. The blow was crippling but the band decided to move on since that was what Gottlieb would have wanted.
