The album first hit the shelves and the digital transmissions in July. It has been received rather well, breaching the Billboard 200 and drawing decent reviews from the respected music review outlets. Brandon Boyd worked with producer Dave Friedman on the album. Boyd played every instrument but the keyboard (Friedman played the keyboard). The Wild Trapeze's release was announced on June 6, 2010 on Boyd's Facebook page and the first single, a cover of "Runaway Train," was released on June 21, 2010. OnlineSeats will have Brandon Boyd tickets for his tour to support his first solo album, as well as Incubus tickets once the group gets back together to record, release, and promote a seventh album.
