Presented by Bison Communities, Rawhide is the only venue in the nation to host the competition, which featured 144 different rodeo athletes competing for more than $35,000 in prize money in Bucking Thunder's three scheduled performances. The champion of each rodeo event competition was to be determined by the highest score in the rough stock events (bronc and bull riding) and the fastest time in barrel racing.Country music superstar Chris LeDoux performed at the Bucking Thunder Blowout on that Saturday night after the competition ended.
