Buzzcocks
The band released their first album in the year 1978 titled "Another Music in a Different Kitchen" to rave reviews. The album also included the hit single "I Don't Mind" which got the audience on their feet rocking to their tunes. The singles "No reply" and "You Tear Me Up" also became very popular. 1978 was a glorious year for the band, as they became a household name with their second album titled "Love Bites". The track "Ever Fallen in Love" is their most popular single until date.
They carried on their successful streak in the year 1979 with the album titled "A Different Kind of Tension". The album lived up to its name as it created a stir in the arena of punk rock. The singles "Paradise", "Sitting Around at Home" and "You Say You Don't Love Me" were instant hits and made even the worst dancers rock to their tunes.
After a long hiatus, the band released their next album in 1993, titled "Trade Test Transmissions". The fans that were waiting expectantly for the band's album were not disappointed as the band lived up to its reputation and produced mind- blowing singles. The fifth album of the band titled "All Set" released in 1996. After the release of this album, the band silenced all their critics as they received praise from all quarters.
The band's sixth album "Modem" was an even bigger success than all its previous albums. The singles "Soul on a Rock", "Rendezvous" became the biggest hits of the year and the band's popularity increased manifold.
2003 saw the band come out with their self- titled album, which became a rage. In 2005, on popular request Shelley re-recorded the popular single "Ever fallen in Love". With the legendary stars like Elton John, Roger Daltrey and David Gilmour to name a few. Their most recent album titled "Flat-Pack Philosophy" saw the light of day in 2006. The album sold like hot cakes.

Buzzcocks are one of the most popular English punk rock bands in the world. The band changed the face of punk rock/punk rock with their music. They have carved a niche for themselves in the Manchester Music Scene. The famous singer, songwriter and guitarist Pete Shelley formed this amazing band with singer Howard Devoto. The band came into existence in Leigh, Manchester in 1975. The band got its name from a slang word popularly used in Manchester called "cock". The slang term "cock" means youngster. The use of this term in the ITV television drama serial Rock Follies in 1970s also made it popular.
The success of the band is indebted to their singles like "Ever Fallen in Love", which are favourites of the audiences even today. The band's music has elements of energy and rocking music, which leaves the listeners enthralled. Their fans can enjoy listening to all their singles in a CD titled "Singles Going Steady".
