Carl Palmer Band
Palmer remained with The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, for a long time and later left the band when he met Vincent Crane and together they decided to form Atomic Rooster. With the band Palmer played for only one album and after that he left the band and join Emerson to form the the most renowned band Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. With ELP, Palmer remained for quite a long time till the breakup of the band. These was followed by another formation of a new band called P.M. His stint with the new band was only for short duration and he then joined Asia with his past members such as Yes, King Crimson, and Buggles. After some time, Palmer and Emerson again got together. They were further joined by with other musicians also, including Robert Berry, American singer and guitarist. Together they formed a group called 3. In 1987, the trio released an album which was quite successful. In the year 1992, Palmer again joined ELP which was formed in the year 1992. Together they released a number of albums such as Black Moon, In the Hot Seat, a box set, as well as a number of DVDs and embarking upon extensive tours. In the year 1998, finally the band ELP broke off. Palmer continues playing in other notable bands and also joining in tours. He has also released four albums, which were Working Live Vol. I & II as well as an anthology album.
Palmer continues to perform a series of drum clinics throughout UK and Europe. Presently he is touring with original members of the band Asia, who are celebrating their 25th anniversary.
For thirty years, Palmer has been ruling the contemporary rock world with his drums and still continues to mesmerize his rock music fans and is even nicknamed as " the drummer's drummer."

Carl Palmer also known as Carl Frederick Kendall Palmer, who was born in the year 1950, in Handsworth, Birmingham. Palmer is an accomplished English percussionist and drummer. Palmer is regarded as one of the most influential and one of the most respected rock drummers in the contemporary rock world. Palmer has the experience of playing in a number of British bands, such as The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Atomic Rooster, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, and Asia. He has also collaborated with Mike Oldfield.
