Chad Brock
Chad Brock is a Contemporary country singer as well as a songwriter. Chad Brock was born on July 31st, 1963(going by the words of Chad, he is proud of his 'sorta old' age!) in Ocala, FL. Despite being a performer in a church choir all through his youth, his first love was athletics. He was a highly touted football player during his high-school days. Subsequent to joining the school chorus, however, Chad emerged as a star soloist, and became so charmed of music that he went on to turn down a college athletic scholarship toward pursuing a career as a performer. His first step was to relocate to Nashville from his hometown Ocala to work as a songwriter. Chad initially struggled a lot to get his foot firm in the music industry, and as a consequence had to spend three years as a touring member of the World Championship Wrestling organization. Chad continued to wrestle for the WCW for next two years by his own name until a very severe thigh injury made him require surgery and therapy and thus took him out of the ring. As a final point, in the year 1998, Brock signed with the highly acclaimed Warner Bros. and released his debut self-titled album later in that year.
Chad Brock's second single, "Ordinary Life," was a sell out hit, climbing into the country chart's Top Five, and the next single "Lightning Does the Work" was also reasonably popular. Brock's follow-up album was year 2000's Yes!, whose title track, a story song about seeing and romancing his wife went on to become his first country chart-topper, nearly making it in the pop Top 20 as well. The year 2001's III however wasn't able to quite duplicate that success.
