Nevada ended up ranked in the Top 25 thanks to an offense that averaged 42.6 points a game (7th), 229.6 passing yards a game, and an impressive 305.9 rushing yards a game (3rd). The team allows 22.1 points, so the Wolf Pack tend to win by a healthy margin.

The Wolf Pack have two 1,000 yard rushers. Running back Vai Taua ran for 1,534 yards and 19 touchdowns. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick ran for 1,184 yards and 20 touchdowns. Kaepernick also threw 2,830 yards and 20 touchdowns. These two players are the keys to the Nevada win at the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl.
