The Michigan State Spartans football team has been playing since 1896, winning six national championships throughout the long history. Those championships all came within a 16 year period, between 1951 and 1966. The school has struggled to return to its former glory, a glory that coaches Clarence Munn and Duffy Daugherty strived to build. Though the MSU Spartans have been playing college football since 1896, the school has been apart of the Big Ten athletic conference since 1949. The Spartans dominated the conference football standings until the 1980s, but the program fell into disrepair after coach Darryl Rogers left for Arizona State. Michigan State Spartan tickets are available at OnlineSeats to see the football program as it thrives under the leadership of Mark Dantonio. Spartan Stadium is often packed thanks to this coach. We have the cheap college football tickets for this school, for other Big Ten programs and for every other Division I college football program in the nation.
