The Queen of England awarded Crowded House the Order of the British Empire to Neil Finn and his brother Tim, who would eventually join the group, in 1993. Obviously at some point in time the band made an impact on the whole of the UK. The third and fourth albums, Woodface and Together Alone, were the albums that finally secured that success. Woodface went double platinum in both Australia and the UK and Together Alone went platinum in both. Together Alone also marked the true end of the first genesis of Crowded House. The band still scheduled some tours and sold concert tickets for another three years, but this album would be the last studio album before the group disbanded. Though, a greatest hits album did hit the shelves in June 1996, selling enough copies to warrant 12-time platinum certification in Australia and four-time platinum certification in the UK. Crowded House reunited in 2006. Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, Mark Hart, and Matt Sherrod are the new lineup for a band best remembered for its past hits. Still, Crowded House released a new album in 2007 entitled Time on Earth. The album proved the group still had enough lingering recognition in Australia to peak at the number one position on the charts and reach platinum certification. In New Zealand the album peaked at number two and reached gold. In the UK the album peaked at number three and did not reach any certification with its album sales. The group is back in 2010 with a new album. Intriguer is best described as alternative pop and performed best in Australia and New Zealand. The label released the album on June 13, 2010 and the album has had decent record sales. The group embarked on a world tour in May 2010 and will be selling Crowded House tickets in the United States and Europe. OnlineSeats will have these concert tickets to see this classic pop rock band live.
