Daryl Hall
This singer is part of the famous singing duo Hall & Oats.He was born as Daryl Franklin Hall on October 11,1946 at Potts town in Pennsylvania.His mother inculcated spirit of music in him. She used to play legendary songs of Frank Sinatra to him. They influenced him is a way. He also got inspiration from Chicken Hill Ghetto, inhabited by black musicians.He studied at Temple University but did not take degree. One of the reasons is he was much absorbed in music. During his university years, he used to perform as a support for many bands chance meeting with John oats while escaping the rioters gave a new direction to his career. The joined hands and formed one of the known music duo, Hall and Oates in year 1972.It is said Tommy Mottola, their manager helped them in big way. He helped them to get a contract of Atlantic record label.It is said that they have sold more than sixty million albums. They gave inspiration to new age pop stars. It will not be a big thing to say that many were inspired by duo's rock and style.
In 1976, Hall and Oates signed with RCA, a known music label.This year they got success with singles like "Sara smile", "Rich Girl"In 1977, Music album RCA encouraged him to go solo. Daryl launched his first solo, sacred songs. This album was released in 1980 due to commercial reasons.In 1984, he parted ways withJohn Oates
In 1985, Three hearts in the happy ending machines was launched. It had some of the chartbusters like " Foolish Pride" and "Dream Time".
Year 1988 saw reunion of this music duo that resulted in successful album Oh YeahIn 1993, He lunched his third solo album, Soul Alone. He sang official anthem of FIFA World Cup (1994) with a gospel groupHis next solo album can't stop dreaming, came in 1996.In Year 2004, he launched his fifth solo album live Philadelphia.
In 2005, Hall took a break because of his medical condition but in 2006, he and his partner are launching a Christmas album for their friends.
