David Garrett is the violinist virtuoso from Germany who has been entertaining crowds since he turned 12. Garret was born September 4, 1980 in Aachen, Germany. He picked up the violin for the first time at the age of four and immediately fell in love with the sounds he could pry from its strings. After studying at the Lubeck Conservatoire he released two albums. A recording artist at the age of 13, he promoted these albums on German and Dutch television.
