Deaf Pedestrians
Deaf pedestrians are a young and newly formed Alternative Rock outfit. It was formed in the year 2001 at Dallas, Texas USA. The founding members are guitarists Jason Hall and Garrin Walker, lead vocalist Charlton Stanbrooke 'Chuck' Parker, bass player Eric Hartis and lastly drummer Russ Dignam. It has ridden on the recent success the alternative rock music has managed to gain worldwide. Apart from that the band is uniquely placed among this category. The music is good, the vocals are powerful and everything gels out well. The masses love them for their sound and styles. They have gained status of idols among the young fans.
The group recorded an indie EP called "Girl". Next to come was their debut self titled debut full length album which was released in September 2005. The album was fairly successful with the two singles, "15 Beers Ago" and "Splatter" managing to make to the top slots across various countdowns.
Deaf Pedestrians, they are the aesthetic embodiment of making your cake and eating it too. They may be branded that rare band which is witty enough, smart enough, and imaginative enough to make connection with the suspicious smartass Alternative and College set. Artist Biography - Deaf Pedestrians

 The lead singer Chuck Parker's skill to adopt personas to radically convey his twisted cinematic story line lyrics plus the band's no nonsense and super tight guitar drenched hooks make the bands music commercially feasible and at the same time attaining and maintaining artistic credibility.
Formed as an amalgamation of two other bands the deaf Pedestrians spent the better part of three years of their existence, writing and recording a cohesive just different enough reverberation and songwriting style. Whatever they may be doing they are certainly successful at it. They have managed to get an image into eyes of the music lovers at the national level.
The band spent almost all of 2003 as "the Most Requested Unsigned Band" on Spinner AOL Internet Radio. In the year 2004 all they did was gigging and recording, the deaf Pedestrians were discovered by iTunes. Next in the month of April, year 2005, deaf Pedestrians debuted on iTune's Home Page as the Free Download Single of the Week , courtesy their first single, "15 Beers Ago".
Deaf Pedestrians are at present at 200,000 downloads as against the forecast download demand of 100,000 as estimated by iTunes itself. And the downloads are still counting. And it's definitely not just because of the free tag on iTunes. Deaf peds (as they are commonly known as) are here to stay.
