Dearborn
Chicago's most forthcoming rock quartet has fans, friends, and critics on the border of their stereos in expectations. The band has been nominated at the Chicago Music Awards for Best Rock Entertainer three years consequently and have also taken home an award. Dearborn (Sideways 8 Records) is a high-pitched vigorous rock band who has newly released their 2007 debut release "Always In Disguise" produced by Larry Sturm at Pressure Point Studio in Chicago, IL. Always In Disguise is a beautiful album in its personal way, but they need to zest up new flavors up every now and then, gambling a bit. The title track with sirens shrieking is intented towards the braindead guy in the White House on whom they swing over a mean punch. The band needs to evolve their sounds to make their music stand out amongst the superfluity of rock quartets juggling around to gain attraction. A few tracks on the proposed ten tracks for the new album are good enough for a B-side, but they sound pale after when compaired to their rocking paradiso songs like I Need Answers and Gotta Get Out. Travelling around and being a lot on the road has inverted them in a binding sounding wholesome group, they played as a encouraging band backed up by their fans headlining at the venues with good old fame and fortune. Totally into power rock, Dearborn sound profound enough to live up to it.
