Deerhunter is the indie rock band from Athens, Georgia whose music combines elements from noise rock, ambient sounds, shoegazer rock, and punk. They have been performing together since 2001 and have released four full-length studio albums. Deerhunter tickets can now be purchased in anticipation of the latest album, Halcyon Digest. The four-piece group is playing a number of smaller venues, but has thrown a couple of large venues on the concert schedule in larger cities.

While the band would like to concentrate on the sound emanating, everybody has questions about the lead singer Bradford Cox. Cox is a tall, skinny man who some might accuse of having an eating disorder. He does not, of course. Cox has Marfan syndrome, a genetic disorder that affects the connective tissue manifested most overtly in great height and seemingly exaggeratedly long limbs and long thin fingers. Cox most certainly fits this profile, but he has made a name for himself as the lead singer for Deerhunter.
