Dixie Chicks are a female band of trio from America. The members of the band are Emily Robison, Martie Maguire, and Natalie Maines. The band was formed in the year 1989 in Dallas, Texas. The album "Wide Open Spaces" sold for more than 12 million copies, and it also became one of the 50 best-selling albums in the history of America. In the year 1999 they opened act for Tim McGraw on a very popular concert tour.
Their next smashing hit was, "Fly", in 2000. Almost nine singles became smashing hit, which includes the country No. 1's "Cowboy Take Me Away" and "Without You". The album sold for almost10 million copies. The group also did their first headliner. The album "Home" dominated the Grammy Awards in the year 2003 by, winning four awards including the Best Country Album.
