The company also has the honor of performing for colossal events like the the opening of Portland's west side light rail, Toronto's Winterfest 2003, Nike World Masters Games and for ArtQuake. The shows of Do Jump include: Now: A Living Cartoon of the Present Moment (2002), 25 (2003), ¡Entusiasmo!: If You're Not Dreaming You Must Be Asleep (2003) and their latest show, At Such a Dizzy Height (2006), inspired by Marc Chagall's paintings. "¡Entusiasmo!" was adapted by Rotheir artistic director Robin lane from the factual book "Gaviotas: A Village to Reinvent the World" written by Alan Weisman. The story is about hope and optimism. Some of their upcoming performances include: Do Jump! At Corvallis (Oregon), DO JUMP! At the Ocean Reef Cultural Center, Key Largo, (Florida), Do Jump! At the Salem Public Library, Salem, (Oregon), DO JUMP! At the The Egg Hart Center Albany, (New York) , DO JUMP! At the Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts, Ramapo College, Mahwah, (New Jersey), DO JUMP! Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (Washington D.C.), "At Such A Dizzy Height" at Ordway Center for the Performing Arts St. Paul, (Minnesota). The troupe of six include, Aaron Wheeler-Kay, Wendy Cohen, Nicolo Kehrwald, Yoji Hall, Brittany Walsh, Tia Zapp, Molly Courtney, and Andrea Lawhead; and special guest performers, the Vanillatown Vaudevillians.

Artist Biography - Do Jump For The Holidays

Portland's zaniest performing troupe- Do Jump- will be performing their loved holiday show "Do Jump for the Holidays". With trapeze performers, aerial delights, theatre, gravity defying acrobatics and great showmanship splashed with humor, its a no-brainer tickets are hard to get.
Do Jump's Founder and Artistic director Robin Lane founded the company in 1983 in Portland, Oregon. Within the next year, the Do Jump Movement Theater School was created to teach students the freedom and creativity of Do Jump's performance stylings. Ever since the company has performed numerous shows at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts. Do Jump! is rightfully and appropriately subtitled "Extremely Physical Theater". Besides performing at Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, New York City's New Victory Theater and L.A.'s Geffen Playhouse to name just a few. The New York Times opined about Do Jump! "...reinforces a child's sense of wonder and revives it in adults."
