Eagles of Death Metal is formed of Jesse ''the devil'' Hughes (vocals, guitar), Josh ''baby duck'' Homme (drums, bass), Dave ''darlin' dave'' Catching (guitar, vocals), Gene ''teen dream'' Trautmann (drums) and Brian '' big hands '' O'Connor (bass, vocals). The band is formed and led by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme. Homme is best known for fronting rock band, Queens of the Stone Age. Jesse Hughes is the band's frontman. The band also has contributing musicians like the amazing Jack ''blackjack'' Black, Dave ''diablo'' Grohl, Joey 'the sexy mexi'' Castillo, Samantha ''hot damn sweet sam'' Maloney, Claude ''sugardick'' Coleman among others.
Their long-awaited debut album, Peace, Love, Death Metal was finally released on the 23rd of March, 2004. Death by Sexy, their sophomore album was released on 11th April, 2006.
