‘East Windsor’ Town of Hartford County in Connecticut, the USA comprises five villages namely Broad Brook, Melrose, Scantic, Warehouse Point and Windsorville. Hartford County is situated in the northern central part of Connecticut State. According to 2000 census reports, it has the population of 857,183 peoples.

Connecticut State is situated in the New England region of the northeastern USA. New York borders this state to the west and in south, Massachusetts to the north and Rhode Island to the east. Some European Dutch were the first settlers of this state. But majority of its settlers were English who settled here in 1630. Several disparate colonies merged under a royal charter in 1662 that concluded with the formation of Connecticut as a crown colony. This state turned into one of the Thirteen Colonies that revolted against the British rule in American Revolution.

This region has temperate climate. The favourable climatic conditions help it in maintaining the strong maritime tradition. Connecticut had developed so much so that it had ready access to raw materials in the 18th and 19th centuries. This helped this state to develop a strong manufacturing industry. Many financial organizations flourished here in 19th and 20th centuries.

East Windsor became an emerging town of this state over the period. According to the recent estimates, it has 4,078 households, 48.7% are married couples living together, 10.1% has a female householder without husbands and 37.3% are non-families. This city has an average household size of 2.34 and its average family size is 2.94. East Windsor has manageable sex ratio of 96.4 males for every 100 females. It has 92.6 males for every 100 females aged 18 and above.
