Easton Corbin is the country singer from Trenton, Florida signed to Mercury Records Nashville up for the 2010 CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year. He emerged as a singing sensation in 2009 with the single "A Little More Country Than That." The single peaked at number one in the U.S. Country charts and his album has peaked at number four. Easton Corbin tickets are available for a number of 2010 tour dates, with concerts in several smaller cities throughout the U.S.

He was born on April 12, 1982 and lived in Gilchrist County in Florida with his grandparents after his parents divorced. His grandparents exposed him to television with a country feel, feeding him shows like Hee Haw. Easton quickly picked up a guitar, learned to play and fronted a band opening for the likes of Janie Fricke and Mel McDaniel.

This was all pre-college. At college his life changed when he met his future wife, Briann. He attended Waynesburg University and earned a degree in business, but ultimately chose music, moving to Nashville with Briann out of college. Easton Corbin benefited from a family connection and met the senior director of A&R for Universal Music Group Nashville, who signed him to a division called Mercury Records Nashville.
