Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros is a band many have heard in the last couple year. They broke out in 2010 thanks to the hit single "Home", a song omnipresent in all mediums, played on the radio, viewed on YouTube, promoting Ford cars, and much more. Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic is the creation of lead singer, guitarist, percussionist, and pianist Alex Ebert. Edward Sharpe is a messianic figure sent to heal, but is sidetracked by his inability to avoid falling in love. Ebert is presumably Sharpe and Jade Castrinos, a singer and guitarist, is his main muse along the journey. The rest of the Magnetic Zeros are Nico Aglietti, Stewart Cole, Tay Strathairn, Aaron Older, Josh Collazo, Orpheo McCord, Nora Kirkpatrick, and Christian Letts. This 10-person band already has many members playing multiple instruments, but on the road this party can grow even bigger, adding the efforts of Chris Richard, Anna Bullbrook, Aaron Embry, Tyler James, Ryan Richter, and Michale Farfel. So far, this group, established in 2005 in Los Angeles, has released the Here Comes EP and the debut studio album Up from Below. The debut peaked at number 76 on the Billboard 200, but Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have been growing an army of fans throughout the country. OnlineSeats will have the Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros tickets to see this meteoric rising messianic figure and his traveling band as they take to the road with tour dates for the summer music festivals and headlining concert dates.
