El DeBarge, or Eldra Patrick DeBarge, is the R&B, soul, and pop sensation born on June 4, 1961 in Detroit. The singer is now a solo act, but he began his professional music career as a part of the DeBarges, the family group which he fronted with his prodigy-like talent as a vocalist.
