There is a long list of celebrity guests and performers that include Grace Jones, Joan Jett, Kool and the Gang, Chris Isaak, Sugar Ray, Dennis Rodman, Digital Underground, Ron Jeremy, Tabitha Stevens, Tera Patrick, Violet Blue, Morris Day and the Time, Motörhead, Superbooty, Love and Rockets, The Tubes, and Nina Hartley.
The organisers of this world class event added something new to the event in 2004 by expanding the ball to include the Exotic Erotic Expo. Eventually, the event took the shape of The Expo featuring vendors showcasing the most latest in different streams including exotic fashion, erotic art, adult products, games, websites, and novelties.
The activities being carried on at Expo were quite interesting. They included panel discussions on First Amendment rights. Those who participated included adult performers, moguls, media, and special guests. There were wine tastings with adult film stars, further, there was a spiritual oasis with psychic readings and massage. Then, there was body painting, a classic adult cinema, and a human petting zoo.
The Exotic Erotic Ball went to its roots. It returned and expanded to New York City in June 2006 and organised its first ball at Pier 94 in Manhattan. However, the attendance was very low that is of only 1000 people.
There were talks for expansion of the ball to Miami and other international cities like Amsterdam and London.

- THE ball, in reality, is technically held in Daly City however, it is quoted as a San Francisco event.
- Although, nudity is banned at the ball, however, there are a few people who are least interested to abide by the rule. Much to your surprise, you will not see anyone enforcing it.

THE Exotic Erotic Ball, an annual masquerade fetish ball, is synonymous to the wide variety of entertainment including non-stop adult entertainment of limitless variety with live music added with top DJs zooming on with erotic performers tapping toes with exotic dancers. The Ball is organised around Halloween in San Francisco.
It is a unique combination of five different varieties including masquerade, burlesque, rock concert, and the bizarre brought under one banner that is regaling hundreds of thousands of participants with its limitless non-stop adult entertainment.
It was in the year 1979 when Perry Mann had organised the first Exotic Erotic Ball. The main aim to organise the event was to raise campaign funds for his buddy, the late Louis Abolafia, who was running for President.
The Nudist Ball was a precursor to the Exotic Erotic Ball. It was organised in Mann's Tenderloin apartment in 1978. Only a few hundred people were attracted. Then, in 1979, the event was taken to California Hall on Turk Street. Here, finally, it took the shape of Exotic Erotic Ball. There were around 800-900 people in the event who were paying $10 apiece.
Over the years, there were changes in the location of the event and finally it ended up at Cow Palace. The attendance in the event is 15,000 annually, however, in 2005, 20,000 people attended the event.
Over 250,000 people have attended the event since its inception in the first year.
The event is also dedicated for the social cause. In last many years, the Ball has been distributing hundreds and thousands of dollars to lot many charities that are supporting various social causes. Some of these are helping those who are the victims of homelessness and AIDS. The innocent victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and others alike are also being helped out.
