The hit single of the same name apparently featured a dark, powerfully sequenced bass line along with a striking video in which orange crew cut Lennox sported to fame. Very soon band's fortunes changed. The album instantly became a huge British hit. Lennox was soon featured on the coveted cover of Rolling Stone magazine. The next album titled Touch, the follow-up compilation to Sweet Dreams spawned three major hits. It included the remarkable "Here Comes the Rain Again" had a haunting orchestral ballad. The video also went into heavy rotation on MTV channel. Next track "Who's That Girl" was also a huge hit. Eurythmics also released their classic Revenge album in 1986, which defined their move towards a trademark band sound. Eurythmics went on a substantial worldwide tour in support of this remarkable album. The folk-tinged "Thorn in My Side" was powering the UK success of Revenge and it remains Eurythmics' best selling compilation to date. Lennox and Stewart reunited in 1987 and released the critically acclaimed album, titled Savage. This album saw a fairly fundamental change in the group's sound.
