The Flobots are the genre bending band from Denver straddling the line between indie rock, alternative rock, and alternative hip hop. They are the epitome of the 21st century, breaking down musical barriers and combining sounds for a generation no longer easily categorized. Flobots tickets are concert tickets for a group with an energetic live show no matter where they go on tour.

The group is comprised of Jonny 5, Brer Rabbit, Mackenzie Roberts, Andy Guerrero, Jesse Walker, and Kenny Ortiz. Jonny 5, otherwise known as MC James Laurie, began the group back in 2000 when he met Farhad Ebrahimi. The two worked together and to produce and release Onomatopoeia the following year. The album was released under the name Flobots and, after the writing-producing team broke up, Jonny 5 kept the band name while beginning a side project.

That side project became what the rest of the world known as Flobots. The other four joined up with Jonny 5 and the group produced and released a new EP, Flobots Present…Platypus. The album had promising record sales over the next two years, leading to an opening gig for The Fray.
