For Today is the Christian metalcore band comprised of singer Mattie Montgomery, drummer and singer David Morrison, guitarist and singer Ryan Leitru, bassist Brandon Leitru, and guitarist Mike Reynolds. For Today tickets have been on sale since the group formed in 2005 in Sioux City, Iowa, but have been in much more demand since they put out their debut album, Ekklesia, in 2008.

The group's success in merging metalcore with religious messages and imagery is possible thanks to the technical prowess of the instrumentation. That skill has been honed over the years with an onslaught of touring dates. In 2007 this group took the road and played 200 shows. For Today has continued to show that kind of dedication since signing with a label and releasing albums for mass consumption.
