Using new imaging technology, the four band mates (2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel Hobbs) appeared on stage besides rappers and Madonna. This prompted fans to expect some sort of a tour, and indeed the creators of Gorillaz intended to give them such a concert. However, the plans fell through due to the estimated cost of the tour. Years later, Gorillaz is ready to return with a third album, Plastic Beach, and this time they will give a few live performances. Notably, tickets for the first night of the Coachella music festival are Gorillaz tickets because they are headlining the summer music event. In addition, the Gorillaz will play at the Camden Roundhouse in London on April 29 and 30, 2010. A fourth concert has been added with the announcement that the group will play the Roskilde Festival in Denmark. OnlineSeats will have tickets for all these events, so while Gorillaz tickets for individual shows may be difficult to come by, tickets fro summer festivals are available to see the band live in concert, or perhaps it is better to say 3D in concert.
