Halloween Haunt At Knotts Berry Farm
Halloween Haunt is an annual event that takes place on the famous Knott's Berry Farm. The event has been held on the farm for more than thirty years and have always drawn large crowds. Halloween Haunt has been a very big attraction for Knott's Berry Farm. The event has been attended in large numbers by the people since 1973. The creators of Halloween Haunt were Gary Salisbury and Bill Hollingshead. It is a special ticketed event. For the event the whole park is designed as a haunted house. In 1982 the actress Cassandra Peterson named Elvira for the event was an added attraction for the Halloween Haunt. She remained with the several Halloween Haunt events till 2001.
Knott's Berry Farm is theme park in California. The park was founded by Walter Knott in 1968. In the Southern California there are also three Soak City USA water parks also developed by Knott.  Knott's Berry Farm recently introduced the Indian Trails. It is a small area situated between Camp Snoopy,, Fiesta Village, and Ghost Town. Indian Trails is used for displaying Native American art, dance and crafts. The area does not have a any rides.
Camp Snoopy is loved by the children. The comic strip character of the Peanuts written by Charles M. Schulz is the theme for Camp Snoopy. The attraction and rides in the area are the main attraction for the kids.
Fiesta Village has several attraction of carnival styles. There are Jaguar! family roller coaster and Montezooma's Revenge roller coaster. The theme of Fiesta Village is Latin.
The prominent thrill rides of Knott's Berry Farm will be found at The Boardwalk. The Boardwalk houses number of rides like Perilous Plunge, Xcelerator, Supreme Scream, roller coaster Boomerang. It also houses the Sky Cabin Tower. The theme of The Boardwalk has been changed many times. Gypsy camp was the first theme of the area but later changed to Roaring 20's and Knott's Airfield.
Ghost Town has number of attractions like the Butterfield Stagecoach, Timber Mountain Log Ride, The Wild West Stunt Show, Calico Mine Train dark ride, Ghost Town & Calico Railroad, Pan-for-Gold , GhostRider wooden roller coaster. Two other crowd pulling attractions are Screamin' Swing and Silver Bullet.
Wild Water Wilderness has a rift raft ride known as Big Foot Rapids. The area also hosts a a multimedia show
Mystery Lodge.
