How to Destroy Angels pays homage to the very influential band that set the group's true genius, Trent Reznor, down the Industrial rock path that made him a world-renown figure in the modern world of collapsing genres. Named for a single released by Coil in 1984, the new band and the new self-titled EP have a place in a world torn apart by conflict in every arena. How to Destroy Angels tickets are seats to concerts set before an onslaught of dark ambient noise, altering the universe in the tiny clubs Trent Reznor, wife and lead singer Mariqueen Maandig, and longtime NIN collaborator Atticus Ross choose to play.
The group and album is the first project post Nine Inch Nails for Trent Reznor. Reznor recruited the help of Atticus Ross, an English musician, composer, and producer who has been working with Reznor since coming over to the U.S. in 2000, and Reznor's wife, East Indian singer Mariqueen Maandig.
