Few choreographies has been gathered from the isolated villages with dance elements dating back hundreds of years that completely indicate maintenance the ethnicity of the country. The well known Folk Orchestra and the world-famous Gipsy Orchestra demonstrate the extraordinary, glorious and superb folk music that has inspired Liszt, Bartók and Kodály. The Ensemble contains almost 30 expert dancers, 14 members of the Gipsy Orchestra and 5 members of the Folk Orchestra. Authentic and traditional instruments are used by the members of the Folk Orchestra who perform Hungarian folk music at its highest artistic level. The far-famed Gipsy Orchestra plays both dance accompaniments and performs alone all its activities on stage. The unique and superb performance come from the rich cultural repertoire which includes folk music. This folk music has inspired Hungarian and many international classical composers like Liszt, Brahms, Kodály and Bartók.
Though the Ensemble performs around the world and nation, he gives its regular 90 – 100 performances annually in its Corvin tér theatre, in the Budai Vigadó.
