Il Divo is a creation of Simon Cowell. He had heard Andrea Bocelli performing Con te partiro as he was watching the Sopranos when the kernel for the idea emerged. The second place finish by G4, an operatic quartet, on the X-Factor inspired him and that kernel became a Three Tenors for the next generation. Four singers were recruited from four nations to give the group an international appeal. Those fours singers would be pop singer Sebastien Izambard from France, baritone Carlos Marin from Spain, tenor David Miller from America, and tenor Urs Buhler from Switzerland. The quartet sings in five languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Latin. Il Divo, the debut album went number one and multi-platinum around the world. Il Divo concert tickets sold as soon as the pop-opera group announced a tour. Since then, the group has released albums every couple of years and announced extensive international tour schedules to the cheer of fans. OnlineSeats has the Il Divo tickets to see the four singers as they continue to impress and enchant the global music scene. Operatic pop may not be the most popular in the United States, but it remains one of the most popular and marketable music genres. Check out the group as they take to the road in 2012 and any other year, as they schedule more concert dates.
