Impending Doom comes out of Riverside, California to deliver the Christian lyrics screamed over overpowering guitars. Lead singer Brook Reeves, lead guitarist Cory Johnson, bassist David Sittig, and drummer Brandon Trahan comprise this hard rocking group dedicated to spreading the word of the Lord. The group quickly organized and self-recorded The Sin and Doom of Godless Men EP in 2005. Impending Doom recorded the EP with Reeves, Sittig, Jon, Chris Forno, and Greg Pewthers. The lineup would not last, as the next few years would be a tumultuous time for this Christian group.
Two years later Impending Doom released their first studio album, Nailed.Dead.Risen. The 2007 album released through Facedown Records, a Christian record label in Fallbrook, California specializing in hardcore punk and metalcore recordings by both Christian and secular artists.
