Native of Bayonne, Sylvain Luc is beloved French artist who is well known for his outstanding guitar. Sylvain has grown up in an inspiring atmosphere of his eagerly music learning brothers. At a very young age of 5, he was attracted towards guitar and went for it as his instrument. At the age of 9, he entered the conservatoire and began recording his first album of Basque folklore "Elgarrekin" along with his brothers. He interests are not limited to guitar only but he has also got an expert hand on violin and cello. He learned classical music with Jorge Cardoso. He extensively studied the mandolin, the violin and the cello for 10 years. He was awarded at Festival international de San Sebastian in 1982.
