Jackie Evancho comes to the stage with a powerful voice fit for an opera singer two or three times her age. She was born in the 21st century (April 9, 2010) and began singing just at the age of eight but has such refined vocals with the range of a soprano who has been classically trained for years. Jackie Evancho tickets will soon be available to see this sensational singer in person.
She discovered her love for singing early, but her parents first recognized her talents after she began singing lines from Phantom of the Opera, a stage show her mother had taken her to see. Jackie Evancho quickly became a rising star in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, winning talent competitions quite easily.
Jackie Evancho even entered the 15th annual U.S.A. World Showcase Talent competition in 2009 and took home first place, a $100,000 grand prize, and a contract for a demo album. She earned local acclaim, performing the national anthem at a Pittsburgh Pirates game and singing for local charities. She had earned recognition nationally too, singing for the PBS Special "Celebrate America" at the behest of noted composer Tim Janis and singing the National Anthem in honor of General Chuck Yeager.
