Jason Aldean grew up a natural musician whose parents helped foster his growth and his ambition, despite being divorced and living in different states. During the summers he would stay with his father in Florida. His father would leave him maps of guitar chords to master when he went to work. Jason mastered them easily and immediately picked up songs by his favorite country musicians. His mother, whom he stayed with in Georgia during the school year took him to a VFW where he won a talent contest and decided he wanted spend his life performing and selling Jason Aldean tickets to see him tour. First, Jason Aldean had to pay his dues. He began playing in a house band at the age of 15, played cover songs in college towns, honed his songwriting skills and moved to Nashville after signing with Warner-Chappell song-publishing company, and jumped from label to label trying to make his dream come true. In 2005, one month from a self-imposed deadline to move back to Georgia a failure, he signed with Broken Bow Records. Jason Aldean has released four studio albums since signing with Broken Bow Records. Jason Aldean, his self-titled debut, landed in the Top 10 on the Billboard Country Charts and went platinum. From this point on, Jason Aldean concert tickets became a force at the box office. Though his sophomore album, Relentless would only reach gold status, it did become his first number one country album. His last two albums, Wide Open and My Kinda Party have both gone platinum, though Wide Open only reached number two on the country charts and My Kinda Party became his second number one album. Along with four strong albums, Jason Aldean can credit himself with five numbers singles ("Why", "She's Country", "Big Green Tractor", "The Truth", and "Don't You Wanna Stay"), two number two singles ("Crazy Town" and "My Kinda Party") and a five more Top 10 country songs.
