White did his first performance at the Legends and the crowds continued coming back for almost seven weeks in Reno as the closing act in a new "Living Legends" show. After the show ended, Stuart asked White to join Legends at the Imperial Palace and White became the first "Living" legend in the production of Las Vegas production. Originally, the show portrays the past performers.

 Jay White has grown up in Detroit and had interests only for two things, playing hockey and singing. He has won several trophies and championships also. He also used to sing in the school choir. But his passion for singing was so strong that he left hockey and indulged in honing his skills as a singer. He amazed the crowds with his singing and performance as Neil Diamond, including Neil's mother Rose Diamond. Not only his singing and performance, his costumes, seasoned band, rich baritone vocals, the lyrics is similar to Diamond. White has performed at Caesars, Harrah's, Bally's Hiltons and a number of theatres throughout North America and even beyond. His performance has also impressed the top corporations such as New York Life, McDonalds, IBM and K-Mart and has performed side by side with other legendary entertainers such as Bob Hope and Kenny Rogers. He has also appeared on National TV, in such shows, as "The Tonight Show," the "1996 Miss Universe Pageant," ESPN's 1995 "Holiday Bowl," two National Arthritis Telethons and "Entertainment Tonight"
