Jenny and Johnny is the indie pop duo of Jenny Lewis and Johnathan Rice. The two musicians met in 2005 in Los Angeles after Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes introduced them. The musicians soon embarked on a side project. Before Jenny and Johnny tickets were sold for this indie pop group, Johnny was performing with Lewis's main band Rio Kiley on the Rabbit Fur Coat tour in 2006.
