Jesus and The Devil is a very known band of the United States of America. It is a rock band whose live shows are very energetic, lively and full of fun. Jesus and Devil was formed in Chicago in the early 2002. There are four members in the line up of the group who are Jason Plahutnik on guitar, Chris Oakes on vocals and guitar, Mike Marcinkowski on drums and Bob Carey on bass guitar. There are many bands who have influenced Jesus and Devil such as Motley Crue, The Stooges, The Beastie Boys, The Flaming Lips, Black Flag, At The Drive In, Sonic Youth, Rolling Stones, My Bloody Valentine, Wu-Tang Clan, David Bowie, Boards of Canada, Gang Of Four, The Roots, The Velvet Underground, Lush, Madonna, MC5 and Gangstarr.
In the year of 2004 Jesus and Devil released an album titled 'Destructive Music Resists The Oncoming Light'.'Destructive Music Resists The Oncoming Light' released on Fudge Sickill Record having five songs which were War And Gold , Virgin Cheerleader Bra., Stoned, Bring Out The Guns and Portland.

The first full length album of Jesus and the Devil was titled ' Let Them Have It '. The song from the album Are You Ready is marked by heavy distorted and oft-repeated guitar and vocals are very aggressive. But the band has done a very good job in keeping the song going and making it very powerful. Another track on ' Let Them Have It ' is Beautiful is also a very good piece by the group.
