Joey McIntyre full name is Joseph Mulrey McIntyre aka Joe McIntyre, Joey McIntyre. He was born on December 31, 1972 in Needham, Massachusetts. He is most popularly as one of the youngest member of the group called New Kids On The Block (NKOTB) from the year 1980s-1990s . One of the youngest of the nine children, Joey McIntyre was brought up in an environment of an Irish-American Catholic. When he was 13 years old, the band members approached McIntyre to joined New Kids On The Block so as to replace Jamie Kelly. Except, McIntyre, the other four members of the group have been friends for a long-time from school days, as a result of which McIntyre, at first found it very hard to mix up in the group. But with the passage of time he became fast friends with the group. With their melodious songs and soulful music New Kids on the Block became one of the most successful boy bands till date. The group disbanded, eventually in the year 1994 to start their own solo project.
McIntyre too started with his own solo project and started writing songs and also sought out a record deal. Apart from his musical career, he also appeared in the movie "The Fantastiks" that was based on the long-running off-Broadway musical, that starred Joel Grey also. He recorded his first solo single, "Stay the Same" with his own money, and sold it on his website. Not only this, he also took it to the local Boston DJs, thus promoting it receive an airplay at the national level. It boosted his sales for the single and he signed a recording contract in the year 1999 with Sony Music USA. An album was released along with a re-released of the single Stay the Same album that sold for more then a million copies around the world and it also featured the extra track I Love You Came Too Late and it became his second solo hit. In the year 2001, he released his second solo album, Meet Joe Mac which produced the hit single Rain.
