Joshua Radin burst onto the music scene in 2004 as a folk artist from Shaker Heights, OH whose demo was used on an episode of Scrubs. The television show helped spark immense interest in the then 30-year-old singer-songwriter. Joshua Radin tickets have had no problem selling ever since this moment.
Radin took two years to turn that single into a studio album. We Were Here was released by Columbia Records in 2006 and drew rave reviews from critics and quickly rose to atop the iTunes Folk Album Chart.
His second album, Simple Times, came out two years later. Rob Schnapf helped produce the studio album, which was completed over the course of seven weeks at the Sunset Sound Studio. Again, the album was rife with songs used by television programs and movie in search of music for dramatic moments. Again, the album topped the iTunes chart.
