His 2004 album, Joyful Rebellion, had the highest chart debut for a Canadian hip hop album in the history of the Canadian record charts. This album included the hit singles 'Crabbuckit', 'B-Boy Stance' and 'Man I Used to Be'. In 2005, k-os won three Juno Awards. 'Crabbuckit' won him 'Single of the Year', while the 'Joyful Rebellion' album won him 'Rap Record of the Year'. The video for 'B-Boy Stance' won 'Video of the Year'.
