Karl Denson's Tiny Universe is an ensemble of six musicians who are Karl Denson, Brian Jordan, John Staten, Chris Littlefield, David Veith, and Ron Johnson. Though he later left Lenny for his own jazz music. He has also founded The Greyboy Allstars which is a very prominent jazz ad funk group of San Diego. He has toured with Fred Wesley's band as its member. Karl Densonhas also acted in movie Coming to America in 1981 where he shared the screen with Eddie Murphy.

Brian Jordan is a guitarist who has been with Karl Denson's Tiny Universe from 1999. He has also worked with many other artists of other groups like Stephen Perkins of Jane's Addiction, from The Meters he worked with Zigaboo Modeliste and from Sly and the Family Stone he worked with Cynthia Robinson and Greg Errico. He has also played with many acclaimed artists and groups like Fred Wesley, Dave Mathews, James Brown, Dr. Lonnie Smith, The Allman Brothers Band, Bob Weir and Lenny Kravitz.
Chris Littlefield is a player of Horn and trumpet. He joined the group in 2001 replacing Andy Cleves. He is a very known composer and musician and is credited with working with many artists such as Chuck D., R.E.M., and Lee Oscar in addition to playing with many other famous artists.
David Veith is keyboardist and joined Karl Denson's Tiny Universe when it was formed in 1999. In San Diego he owns a studio. He has produced and scored many soundtracks for number of big films including Meeting David Wilson'.
Ron Johnson plays bass for the group and was inducted in the group in 1999 after declining the offer in 1997. in 2002 the band was joined by another member drummer John Staten.
