It was then that he started his path as a Christian musician. After playing with Steve Perry on For the Love of Strange Medicine and drawing comparisons to Neal Schon, Brewster returned to Modesto and accepted an associate music director and youth worship leader at Calvary Temple Church.

Two years later, at the age of 26, Lincoln moved to Nashville to accept another youth pastor and music minister position with the Oasis Church. The move also resulted in a contract with Integrity Incorporated through the Hosanna! Music. Lincoln Brewster eventually moved back to California and moved labels within the Integrity Incorporated family, from Hosanna! Music to Vertical Music.
Now Lincoln is the worship pastor at Bayside Church in the state capital and has written and recorded seven full-length albums. The 2010 album Real Life has made its way onto the Billboard 200.
